Rene Ryan Named President of GLC, Part of SPM Group
CHICAGO, June 6, 2022—SPM Group is proud to announce that Rene Ryan has been selected as the new President of GLC. This news continues an exciting period of growth and evolution for the content marketing agency, which joined SPM Group in December of 2021.

As President, Ryan will lead GLC as it crafts impactful and creative content strategy and communications programs for its clients in the healthcare and professional associations fields and will collaborate with leadership across SPM Group on strategic opportunities.
Currently, Ryan serves as GLC’s Vice President of content strategy and is an award-winning content marketer and brand journalist. She has spent much of her career crafting integrated content programs—magazines, websites, tablet applications, e-newsletters, and social media campaigns—for associations, non-profits, healthcare organizations, B2B, and B2C clients. Notable client work includes National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The American College of Healthcare Executives, Hackensack Meridian Health, Shriners Children’s, and HealthTrust, to name a few. Her career originally launched as a researcher, journalist, and editor for publications such as The Boston Globe, NY Post, Inc. magazine, Child magazine, Time Out New York, Time Out Chicago, and Budget Travel magazine, amongst others.
